Mary Starling went quiet for a year. Amaryllis is what grew in the dark. Sixteen tracks and sixty-eight minutes of industrial dark pop, glitch, and psychedelic ambience, tracing one long arc from wreckage to bloom — the follow-up to Fractured Fusion, and the answer to it. The amaryllis is a flower that cannot bloom without its dormancy. Neither, it turns out, could she.
